INTERIORS DESIGN PROJECT FOR A NEWLY BUILT VILLA
VB Interiors is a project created with the aim of defining and enhancing the interior spaces of a single-family villa of approximately 300 sqm, in the province of Varese. Located in a quiet residential area well integrated into the landscape, the villa is designed to accommodate a family with two children, seeking warm, functional, and welcoming environments.
The villa is on three story: ground floor, basement, and lower basement. The ground floor hosts the living area, conceived as a large open space that combines the kitchen, dining area, and living room into a single, bright, and open environment, thanks to the large windows overlooking Lake Varese. A wide terrace directly faces the lake, extending the living space outward.
The kitchen, custom-designed, is the beating heart of the living area. A full-height furniture consists of seven columns for the oven, refrigerator, display cabinet, and pull-out shelves for small appliances. In addition, a lower unit contains drawers for dishware. At the center of the space, an island with an induction cooktop and sink makes the environment even more functional and sociable. In the dining area, an elegant elliptical table takes center stage with its soft, enveloping lines, harmonizing with the surrounding space and adding a sense of balance and lightness.
The furnishings were designed in continuity with the architecture of the house, creating a harmonious dialogue between surfaces and volumes. Elements in wood visually connect the different spaces, from the kitchen corner to the entrance, all the way to the TV unit, which includes a drawer for storing firewood.
The lighting design was carefully curated, combining technical light sources with decorative elements, such as integrated LED strip, spotlights and pendant lamps over the island and dining table, which become true scenic features.
The sleeping area is located in the basement and is designed to offer intimacy and comfort. Here you’ll find the master bedroom and its private bathroom, two single bedrooms, a second bathroom, and the laundry room. All rooms overlook the villa’s pool, creating a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors that contributes to a relaxing and private atmosphere.
VB Interiors is a project that tells the story of a home in the making, tailor-made for those who live in it. A place where every detail, from lighting to furnishing, is designed to transform space into experience, and living into emotion.
