A CUSTOM-MADE INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT FOR A NEWLY BUILT APARTMENT
AM interiors is a 120 sqm apartment located in a newly constructed building in the province of Varese.
The project is designed for a couple already living in the area, who wanted a home made to fit their needs, lifestyle, and personal taste.
The apartment is organized around a large open-plan space that includes the living room, dining area, and a kitchen with island — the heart of everyday life in the home.
The sleeping area features a spacious master bedroom with a large walk-in wardrobe, two bathrooms, and a separate laundry room. The layout was designed to ensure brightness, functionality, and a smooth flow between spaces.
A key element of the project is the custom-made furniture, developed together with local craftsmen. Every room has been carefully designed and built to measure: from the full-height wardrobe to the laundry area and bathroom furniture. The kitchen features tall units for the oven and fridge, and a central island with an induction cooktop and integrated extractor.
Custom wall panels and built-in furniture help create continuity between walls and furnishings, giving the home a calm and coherent look.
The materials combine natural wood with matte finishes in soft, neutral tones, for a warm and inviting atmosphere.
A dedicated lighting design completes the project, mixing technical and ambient lighting: integrated LED strips, spotlights, decorative lamps and diffused lights are carefully placed to support different moments of daily life — cooking, relaxing, reading — and to highlight textures, materials, and details.
AM interiors is a home designed with care, where architecture, furniture and lighting come together to create a welcoming and personal living space.
